Long Lashes! Eyelash Drug Approved

New Eyelash Drug Approved

Posted on: Saturday, 27 December 2008, 10:45 CST

On Friday, Allergan Inc., the maker of Botox, said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had approved its eyelash-thickening drug Latisse.

Latisse is designed to treat a condition known as hypotrichosis of the eyelashes, which makes a person not have enough eyelashes.

Bimatroprost is the active ingredient in Latisse, which is the same ingredient that is in Allergan's glaucoma treatment, Lumigan. The patients taking Lumigan said that it made their eyelashes grow, leading Allergan to study it for the new use.

Latisse is to be taken once-daily by applying it to the base of the upper eyelash with a sterile, single-use-per-eye disposable applicator. Once treatment is stopped, eyelashes will gradually return to where they were prior to treatment.

Free Celebrity Eyebrow Stencils

Making Stencils For Cosmetics
Resize them to find a size to fit your face. You can cut out the black part if you want FIRST and then determine which is the best size, then buy contact paper or other clear plastic and trace it. Then change to any shape you desire. Then once you determine a shape you want, use an Exacto blade to remove the brow part from the plastic, leaving a stencil.

Making Stencils For Tattoo Transfer
Resize them to find a size to fit your face. You can either draw on your brows like you want and then secure a piece of firm, clear plastic to your face so you can trace your brow shape onto the plastic or have someone else do it. Then trace it to transfer paper. As is commonly used at tattoo shops everywhere. It is a bluish ink that has tracer paper on it and basically the design is traced onto this and then ink can be transferred to your skin. This stuff can transfer any design you trace onto it to practically any surface.

Deodorants That Slows Hair Growth

Hands up any woman who's ever forgotten to shave her armpits.

Well . . . OK, on second thoughts, maybe not.

Such embarrassing moments could be a thing of the past with the creation of a deodorant which promises to slow hair growth.

The Sure and Dove Hair Minimising roll-ons and sprays, both manufactured by Unilever, will go on sale next month.

They are being billed as the first deodorants which noticeably slow down the speed of hair growth.

Unilever believes they will be particularly popular with image-conscious young women and it expects up to a third of its customers to switch to the new varieties. This would generate £10million in sales in the first year alone.

Although the deodorants are not designed to replace waxing or shaving, it is claimed that they will reduce the skin irritation caused by hair regrowing afterwards.

Unilever claimed that women will notice a difference after around four weeks of use.
Their underarm hair should be less noticeable, finer and easier to remove. However, hair growth will quickly return to normal if they stop using the deodorant.
